Campuses

The zeal in campus ministry seems to have been directed
elsewhere.
It used to be focused on evangelism,gifts of the Spirit and the
Move of God.
Many desired the teaching Gift.
It was the Focal point of seeming healthy competition to
"know the word".
Several recieved the call to ministry.
In fact many highly respected and emerging ministers were
birthed on the praying grounds,sports complexes,classrooms
of the campuses.
The trend appears to have changed!
With d advent of success motivation and concentrated
singles,marriage ministry ,too many undergraduates have
either lost or never came in contact with ministry fire.
Rather than prayer and fastg of those days,we have breakfast
meetings with a top class professional who probably doesnt
go to church.
We have given them the wrong models.
Many who shld be out there leading the way are lost in the
secular world,struggling to keep the faith talkless of keeping
fire for ministry!
We ave a situation here.
The Fire must get to every successive generation.
Its URGENT and its Confidential.
I engaged a fellow minster,who goes about campuses
preaching performance and motivation,i asked him,was this
what we were taught back then?
He said no,but this generation is different!
I told him,dats rubbish,THE BIBLE IS THE SAME!

[2] And the things that thou hast heard of me among many
witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be
able to teach others also.
Commit the Same message/fire/zeal,dont change the
standard!

The paths of young christians who have genuine thirst for
ministry but dont know what to do.
Before the pressures of marriage,raising kids and the
corporate world set in,we want to help them by Gods power to
lay a foundation.
History tells us,that we have since helped multitudes to
discover Gods call upon their lives.From very intense times of
prayer to concise and instructive teachings lasting hours and
hours at a stretch,to practical ministry we experience during
outreaches,many have come to realise...THE MISSION IS
INDEED POSSIBLE.
