Prayer 2 (New testament mode of praying)

Scriptures teach us to pray for fellow believers .
Ephesians 6:18 KJV
[18] Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the
Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and
supplication for all saints;
Its our ministry and proof of our growth in christ to be
available and useful for others
Ephesians 4:12,16 KJV
[12] For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the
ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
16] From whom the whole body fitly joined together and
compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to
the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh
increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Prayer achieves this ministry .
What do I pray for as touching fellow saints ?
Once again I mustn't let my emotions dictate how to pray
,rather I will be led by the Spirit ,I will pray the New Testament
prayer points,they are spirit inspired hence if I use them I am
led by the spirit .
The believers no 1 need at all situations is (are) insight and
wisdom .
1 Peter 2:2 KJV
[2] As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that
ye may grow thereby:
2 Peter 3:18 KJV
[18] But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever.
Amen.
The growth is in knowledge,the knowledge of our salvation ,of
Jesus Christ our saviour.
So my primary aim is to ask for insights for my fellow-believer
s.
Not more power ,as All believers have power at work towards
and in us
Ephesians 1:19 KJV
[19] And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-
ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty
power,
Ephesians 3:20 KJV
[20] Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power that
worketh in us,
Not more spirit as we have THE SPIRIT of God and are one
spirit with him
Romans 8:9,15-16 KJV
[9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the
Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit
of Christ, he is none of his.
15] For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to
fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we
cry, Abba, Father. [16] The Spirit itself beareth witness with our
spirit, that we are the children of God:
1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV
[17] But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
That said,the believer must constantly grow in full
comprehension of these facts .
Let's see these prayer points as laid Down by the Spirit
Ephesians 1:16-23 KJV
[16] Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you
in my prayers; [17] That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the
Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and
revelation in the knowledge of him: [18] The eyes of your
understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the
hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his
inheritance in the saints, [19] And what is the exceeding
greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to
the working of his mighty power, [20] Which he wrought in
Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his
own right hand in the heavenly places , [21] Far above all
principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every
name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that
which is to come: [22] And hath put all things under his feet,
and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, [23]
Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
He knows His inheritance,the riches of His glory ,the
exceeding greatness of power available to him,what and
where christ is today and our same is given / bestowed to His
body of which the believer belongs .We pray for this Insight for
fellow believers .
Ephesians 3:16-20 KJV
[16] That he would grant you, according to the riches of his
glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner
man; [17] That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye,
being rooted and grounded in love, [18] May be able to
comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length,
and depth, and height; [19] And to know the love of Christ,
which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the
fulness of God. [20] Now unto him that is able to do exceeding
abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the
power that worketh in us,
We ask for strengthening by His spirit within ,a comprehension
of the Love of Christ and thus cause us to be filled with the
fullness of God.
Philippians 1:9-11 KJV
[9] And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and
more in knowledge and in all judgment; [10] That ye may
approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and
without offence till the day of Christ; [11] Being filled with the
fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the
glory and praise of God.
True ,that our love increases in influence via knowledge and
discernment ,this will affect our judgment of matters and
cause of to be sincere and exhibit more fruits in our lifestyles .
Colossians 1:9-11 KJV
[9] For this cause we also, since the day we heard it , do not
cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled
with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual
understanding; [10] That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto
all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing
in the knowledge of God; [11] Strengthened with all might,
according to his glorious power, unto all patience and
longsuffering with joyfulness;
We ask that We be full of knowledge to appreciate and walk in
His plan and purpose ,hence we please Him and produce fruit
and are thus strengthened .
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 KJV
[11] Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would
count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good
pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
[12] That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in
you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the
Lord Jesus Christ.
That we be worthy of our calling by fulfilling His will and the
effect of our faith ( knowledge )with power. Jesus Christ is
glorified in us !
Philemon 1:4,6 KJV
[4] I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my
prayers, [6] That the communication of thy faith may become
effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in
you in Christ Jesus.
Our fellowship is more effective via increase in our knowledge
of who we are & what we have in christ .
Hebrews 13:20-21 KJV
[20] Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead
our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the
blood of the everlasting covenant, [21] Make you perfect in
every good work to do his will, working in you that which is
wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be
glory for ever and ever. Amen.
That we grow in every good work which causes us to do things
which glorify Him.
These are spirit inspired requests .we are to see them as
guides to pray for all saints .
Its applicable to us all.
Next time you are to lead prayers on behalf of fellow-saints
endeavor to follow this pattern .
We are not wiser than God who knows what we need .Use this
prayer points to pray for members of your local assembly
,family members ,neighbors ,friends and colleagues who are
believers no matter the situation .
Now write down at least 5-10 names u intend to ask the above
for daily ..
