Galatians 6:6 KJV
[6] Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him
that teacheth in all good things.
If you attend a church where they feed you the word and you
aren't doing this ( regular ,qualitative financial commitment
effectively ) ,it's a shame
It's tragic,whilst " word men " are criticizing jets by pastors of
other churches ,they aren't giving selflessly to their own
pastors
Some sadly ,feed off ministries they don't support financially
and give money elsewhere , where they don't .
You are a debtor to any church or minister who contributes to
your spiritual development
Romans 15:27 KJV
[27] It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For
if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual
things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
You owe the church or minister .
Supporting ministers or ministries that teach us the word and
minister spiritual things to us is an OBLIGATION
1 Timothy 5:17-18 KJV
[17] Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double
honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
[18] For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that
treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his
reward.
You must separate part of your income to support ,daily
,weekly ,monthly etc not as you feel
Stop dropping tips after being blessed immeasurably .
If you must sell ,do so
The ministry of the Word deserves much more
Honor is substantial
Whilst the minister must not make demands ,
Matthew 10:8 KJV
[8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out
devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
1 Peter 5:2 KJV
[2] Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the
oversight thereof , not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy
lucre, but of a ready mind;
the flock mustn't abuse this
It's funny it was the church at Corinth where paul waived his
rights
1 Corinthians 9:15 KJV
[15] But I have used none of these things: neither have I
written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it
were better for me to die, than that any man should make my
glorying void.
It was this church which treated him with more contempt
2 Corinthians 11:7-9 KJV
[7] Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye
might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel
of God freely?
8] I robbed other churches, taking wages of them , to do you
service.
9] And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was
chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the
brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all
things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you,
and so will I keep myself .
It's not difficult to see why despite the teaching of the
Word,they were the most problematic
You can steal information but not revelation
Carnal .
We must not abuse the privilege of being pastored or taught by
non demanding ministers
It's their due,you owe them
The next time I see anyone who claims to be a word person , I
won't take you seriously till I see how much financial
commitment you make to the local church or where you
receive this ministry
