9 Things You must never believe
1- That you are indispensable
That's a huge joke which you must never fall for during
pastors appreciation parties,on Facebook greetings and
any such of praise and worship of leaders.,
Read your bible and start from Genesis,God uses in the
plural never singular.
2-That God is in control of all things.
Not sin,he doesn't inspire sin .So get rid of it.
He has judged it in His Son.
3-That Your message is unique
Hey,don't fall for such.
Even if you are an heretic be rest assured you have
forefathers in error !
Many have been deluded as to how their doctrine is
unique,will bring Jesus,end the world or renew
heaven,surpassed paul and the apostles etc
Don't be fooled!
4-That you can't hurt.
(Laughs)
That it self hurts,
You can get angry,furious ,bitter and weak .make wrong
decisions etc
never let any human being glorify your humanity beyond
the awesomeness of grace.
and if you fully understand grace you won't brag.
5-That you can't Doubt.
Well,you must have severally .so its no brainer .
Keep up your study of the Word ,you are human,
6-That your wife is not a regular woman but an
"anointed" wife
Crazy .
shes a woman and will have such feelings and
emotions.
no follower must be made to over celebrate her,Keep all
expectations in check.
save your self the extras that come with cynicism .
be real and so she should
7-That your kids are extra ordinary
Hey,your kids need the gospel to be saved.
no amount of coercion to pray and sing church songs
will do!
they will be responsible for their faith.
just like you are
Btw- don't shirk your parental responsibility when they
fall ill by claiming your faith will work .
get them the best treatment and teach them God uses
men including doctors to care for others .
I teach all parents this in our church
8-Build your life on what members say to you.
This goes both ways,negative and positive .
Stay full of the Word and Prayer.
You may never know those who truly believe in you till
the very end
9-You body gets glorified upon your call to ministry
Sickness will come,temptations,weariness the list goes
on.
Use common sense as you use faith .
it always saves
Ask Zechariah ,he used common sense with Elizabeth
,the angel didn't tell him what to do to his wife upon
Gods promises,he figured that out.
That's our realm.
This Advice will deliver us from foolishness and
presumption.
Just shed the toga of " man of Godism" and free your
self from undue pressure
