Things we must know

While men classify churches based on numbers and clout/
influence .God doesn't .
Despite what Jesus said.
Matthew 18:20 KJV
[20] For where two or three are gathered together in my name,
there am I in the midst of them.
We say,read and hear phrases like..Mega church,mushroom
church..,small church.
What a disregard to the Head of the Church!
The apostles used no such phrases in describing the church.
Church was simply referred to as such.
Size means nothing.
Jesus is everything when it comes to church.
Being small in number is neither proof that u are less or more
significant in the ministry of Jesus,same as being large!
Church is Church.
1 Corinthians 16:19 KJV
[19] The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla
salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their
house.
The church in the house.
We would have called them "house fellowship"!
Simply because of either size or location of attendance.
Yet,its simply Church.
Paul ministered in homes .
Acts 20:20 KJV
[20] And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you ,
but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from
house to house.
The Church in Ephesus constituted of churches in homes .
I have had to teach this severally correcting people in the
church I pastor .
Every group which meets within our Organisation to teach and
preach is church.
Some of us will discriminate which church to attend based on
number ,location and at times age group of attendees !
Timothy was the pastor of the church at Ephesus .
He was a young man.(1st Timothy4:12)
A Youth.
Some historical facts say he was a teenager.
We need to get rid of worldliness.
Stop classifying Gods house as though its real estate!
Numbers may not be a true reflection of the significance of
true CHRISTIAN ministry .
Sports Stadiums are usually filled to capacity in sporting
events not for sake of ministry but entertainment .check out
Emirates stadium (60,000 almost twice weekly or two service!)
Whilst small groups and associations are so in number many
times either because its a cult or selective in its allowance for
membership .
Numbers are just numbers!
The Church of Jesus shouldn't be dragged into our carnal
ordinances and worldly classification .
Attend Church because its Church,Jesus is Head and you His
member ,not for numbers,small or large !
